Terms & Conditions
Enrolment
By enrolling in the VIDYA Breathwork™ Facilitator Training ("Training"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
VIDYA reserves the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Training Overview
The VIDYA Breathwork™ Facilitator Training is a professional certification program designed to develop facilitators in breathwork, nervous system regulation, somatic practices, meditation, coaching principles, energetics, facilitation skills, ethics, safety, and business foundations.
The Training includes:
14 phases of learning
Live online trainings and mentorship
Practical facilitation experience
Assessments and certification requirements
Community support
Access to training resources and materials
Participants are required to complete all certification requirements within six (6) months of enrolment.
Successful completion of the Training does not guarantee business success, income generation, insurance approval, professional registration, or specific outcomes.
Training Investment
The investment for the VIDYA Breathwork™ Facilitator Training is:
$6,500
or via an approved payment plan through prior arrangement.
Your position is not secured until your enrolment has been accepted and your initial payment has been received.
Payment Plans
Payment plans may be available through prior arrangement and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
By enrolling on a payment plan, you agree to complete all scheduled payments regardless of your level of participation, attendance, withdrawal, or completion of the Training.
Should financial circumstances change, we encourage you to communicate with the VIDYA team as early as possible. However, enrolment commitments remain payable in full unless otherwise agreed to in writing by VIDYA.
Failure to maintain agreed payment obligations may result in:
Suspension of access to training materials
Removal from live calls and community spaces
Withholding of certification
Suspension of ongoing support and resources
All payment plan commitments remain payable in full unless otherwise agreed to in writing by VIDYA.
Refund Policy
All payments made to VIDYA are non-refundable.
This includes:
Change of mind
Scheduling conflicts
Financial hardship
Personal circumstances
Business circumstances
Relocation
Lack of participation
Failure to complete the Training
Due to the immediate access provided to intellectual property, educational content, training resources, community access, and support, refunds cannot be issued once enrolment has been completed.
Exceptional Circumstances
In exceptional circumstances, VIDYA may, at its sole discretion, offer:
A deferred intake
A temporary pause
An extension to certification deadlines
Examples may include:
Serious illness
Medical emergency
Death of an immediate family member
Significant unforeseen life circumstances
Requests must be submitted in writing and supporting documentation may be required.
Approval is not guaranteed and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Training Access & Completion Timeframe
The VIDYA Breathwork™ Facilitator Training consists of 14 phases and is designed to be completed within six (6) months of enrolment.
Participants are responsible for progressing through the Training and completing all certification requirements within this timeframe.
Extensions may be granted in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of VIDYA.
Failure to complete certification requirements within six (6) months may result in additional fees, reassessment requirements, or re-enrolment before certification can be awarded.
Certification Requirements
To receive certification, participants must:
Complete all 14 phases of the Training
Complete all required assessments
Complete all practical facilitation requirements
Submit any required practice logs or case studies
Demonstrate safe, ethical, and competent facilitation skills
Complete all requirements within the designated timeframe
Certification is awarded at the sole discretion of VIDYA.
VIDYA reserves the right to withhold certification where a participant demonstrates:
Unsafe facilitation practices
Ethical concerns
Failure to meet assessment standards
Failure to complete training requirements
Breaches of these Terms & Conditions
Certification confirms successful completion of the VIDYA Breathwork™ Facilitator Training only.
Certification does not constitute a medical, psychological, counselling, psychotherapy, or healthcare qualification.
Practical Facilitation Requirements
Participants are responsible for sourcing their own consenting practice participants throughout the Training.
Practice participants must:
Be over 18 years of age
Provide informed consent
Complete any required intake documentation
Meet safety requirements and contraindication guidelines
VIDYA accepts no responsibility for participants sourced independently by students.
Scope of Practice
Graduates of the VIDYA Breathwork™ Facilitator Training understand that they are not medical practitioners, psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors, psychiatrists, or healthcare providers unless separately qualified.
Certification authorises graduates to facilitate breathwork sessions within the scope of the VIDYA methodology and their individual competency.
Graduates agree not to:
Diagnose medical or mental health conditions
Prescribe treatment
Claim to cure illness, trauma, or disease
Practice outside their level of training, competency, or professional qualifications
Graduates are responsible for working within their own professional scope of practice and complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and insurance requirements.
Health & Personal Responsibility
Breathwork and somatic practices may result in physical, emotional, psychological, energetic, and nervous system responses.
By participating in the Training, you acknowledge that:
Participation is voluntary
You are responsible for monitoring your own wellbeing
You are responsible for seeking professional support where appropriate
You participate at your own risk
VIDYA Breathwork™ is not a substitute for:
Medical treatment
Psychological therapy
Psychiatric treatment
Emergency healthcare services
If you have concerns regarding your physical or mental health, you agree to consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before participating.
Contraindications
Participants are responsible for disclosing any relevant health concerns prior to participation.
Participation may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical or mental health conditions, including but not limited to:
Severe cardiovascular conditions
Epilepsy or seizure disorders
Recent surgeries or serious injuries
Severe psychiatric conditions
Active psychosis
Schizophrenia
Certain pregnancy stages
Any condition deemed unsafe by a healthcare professional
VIDYA reserves the right to request medical clearance or refuse participation where safety concerns arise.
Code of Conduct
VIDYA is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
All participants agree to:
Treat staff and fellow participants with respect
Maintain confidentiality within training containers
Respect diverse experiences and perspectives
Refrain from bullying, harassment, discrimination, or intimidation
Refrain from participating under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances
Conduct themselves professionally at all times
VIDYA reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, unethical, or inconsistent with the values of the Training.
No refunds will be issued where removal occurs.
Intellectual Property
All Training materials remain the intellectual property of VIDYA.
This includes but is not limited to:
Videos
Manuals
Workbooks
Assessments
Training frameworks
Methodologies
Breathwork protocols
Slides
Scripts
Marketing resources
Certification materials
Participants may not:
Copy
Record
Share
Reproduce
Distribute
Teach
Sell
Repurpose
any VIDYA intellectual property without prior written permission.
Teaching & Certification of Others
Completion of the Training grants permission to facilitate sessions within the scope of your certification.
It does not grant permission to:
Teach VIDYA content
Certify facilitators
Train others in the VIDYA methodology
Create derivative trainings using VIDYA intellectual property
Written permission is required for any licensing or teaching arrangements.
Community Access
VIDYA may provide access to community groups, membership spaces, events, and ongoing support.
VIDYA reserves the right to remove access where behaviour is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with company values.
Media Release
Participants acknowledge that live trainings, mentorship calls, community sessions, and events may be recorded for educational purposes.
VIDYA may use recordings, screenshots, testimonials, written feedback, or shared wins for educational and marketing purposes.
Participants may request in writing not to have identifiable images or recordings used publicly.
Changes to Training
VIDYA reserves the right to update, improve, modify, or restructure:
Training content
Modules
Assessments
Delivery methods
Community platforms
Certification requirements
Resources and materials
at any time to maintain the quality and integrity of the Training.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VIDYA, its directors, contractors, employees, mentors, facilitators, and representatives shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, claim, expense, or consequence arising from participation in the Training.
Participation is undertaken entirely at the participant's own risk.
Privacy & Confidentiality
VIDYA respects participant privacy and confidentiality.
Participants agree not to share confidential information relating to other students, staff, clients, or training discussions.
Information collected through enrolment and participation will be managed in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Agreement
By enrolling in the VIDYA Breathwork™ Facilitator Training, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
You understand the nature of the Training, accept responsibility for your participation, and agree to abide by all policies outlined above.
